개 요   Hamilton 밸브위치모듈(Modular Valve Positioners, MVP)는 여러가지 형태의 2~8 포트 밸브를 콘트롤합니다. 전면부의 스위치 또는 외부 제어기를 통해 밸브를 열거나 닫을 수 있습니다.  밸브위치모듈(MVP)는 독립형기기 또는 정밀 유체장비 제작용(original equipment manufacturers, OEM)으로 내장시킬 수 있습니다. Hamilton 밸브위치모듈(MVP)의 두 가지 입출력 방식: - 시리얼 밸브위치모듈(RS-232 MVP)는 RS-232 통신포트를 통해 제어되며,  6 개의 정의된 밸브위치모드에 따라    16대의 밸브를 직렬연결방식(16 daisy-chain)으로 프로그램할 수 있습니다. -  디지털 밸브위치모듈(TTL MVP)는 트랜지스터 논리회로 (transistor-transistor logic, TTL) 또는 스위치를 통해    제어되며, 6 개의 밸브위치모드를 선정하도록 되어 있으며 3 가지 명령어(연속, 불연속, 연속/불연속)로 작동할    수 있습니다. 시리얼 밸브위치모듈(RS-232 MVP)은  의해 최대 8 개의 위치로 된 Hamilton 밸브를 작동 시킬수 있는 마이크로프로세서의 의해 제어되는 장치입니다. 독립형으로 사용하거나 다른 기기장치와 함께 사용할 경우 메뉴얼 모드로 사용하면 외부 이벤트나 연결없이도 전면부의 멤브레인 스위치를 이용하여 수동으로 조작할 수 있습니다. 다음 위치로 시계방향 또는 시계 반대방향으로 변환할 수 있으며, 8 밸브 포지션처럼 많은 밸브에서 원하는 위치에 접근할 수 있습니다. 컴퓨터를 이용하여 외부제어를 할 경우, 두 가지 통신 프로토콜(Hamilton Protocol 1/RNO+, DIN Protocol/BDZ+ Syntax (default) 중에서 선정할 수 있습니다.
